Sean Caesar is a Black Canadian artist, photographer, recording artist, and educator working at the intersection of AI and cultural identity. Operating as Tungz Twisted and under the Maybe Might Matter name, he combines twenty years behind the camera with album-art design (including commissioned covers for Gary Beals), original AI-generated visual collections (Surrealism, Opulence, Afrointrospection, Escheresque, Knolling), and a discography released across Spotify, Apple Music, and Bandcamp. His solo exhibition Maybe Might Matter opened at the Grimsby Museum in January 2024. Sean has spoken to audiences of three hundred-plus on AI literacy, creative agency, and what's missing from the training data when entire cultures aren't in the room. He books talks and workshops for schools, libraries, museums, community programs, and educator PD across Ontario and beyond.

Bias in AI isn't malicious. It's mathematical. What's absent from the training data is absent from the output. Sean's work asks what's missing — and who decides.
AI is a collaborator, not a competitor. Sean uses AI as a co-creator, not a replacement — a way to test ideas, surface options, and explore visual languages at speed.
Cultural knowledge is a prerequisite. An artist who doesn't know what AI is missing can't fix it. Lived experience is the prompt that prompts the prompt.
Maybe Might Matter is a question, not an answer. The name is a thesis — maybe what we make with these tools might matter. It refuses to declare either victory or doom.
The room is the medium. Sean's speaking practice (schools, libraries, museums, families) is just as much "the work" as the visual catalogue. The conversation is the art.
